MINDFULNESS

How many times have you heard, or said, I never have time to do….?

I am sure several times, even I have !

Mindfulness is about trying to find peace and happiness in a very busy world!

It is a simple form of meditation focused on paying attention in the present moment with intention and without critical judgement and being compassionate with yourself.

A typical meditation consists of focusing your full attention on your breath as it flows in and out of your body. Focusing on each breath in this way allows you to observe your thoughts as they arise in your mind and, little by little, to let go of struggling with them.

You come to realise that thoughts come and go of their own accord. It is also about calmly acknowledging and accepting your feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations.

Scientific studies have shown that Mindfulness, not only prevents Depression, but also positively affects the brain patterns that help to dissolve the stresses of life today, more easily.
